About Douglass Truth

I am a painter, writer, and performer.

I’ve been painting since 1995. I am self-taught.

My performance piece, An Intimate Evening with Death, Herself, won Best of Fringe at the Nugget Fringe Festival, Best Storytelling at the United Solo Theater Festival in NYC, and was presented as part of the Let’s Reimagine End of Life event at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco. I have performed over 100 times since it’s inception in 2006 at The Dreamaway Lodge in Becket, Massachusetts.
